Gilles Gubelmann, born in Switzerland, studied next to the maturity piano at the Geneva Conservatory, aswell as classical and modern ballet.
Next to a long activity as an expert of arts and antiques in an important swiss Auction House (Gallery Koller) he dedicated himself as an autodidact to painting and costume design. He followed drawing courses at the Geneva Beaux-Arts and won 1989 the second price for „Young Artists“ in Lausanne.
